Ate at Joe Cotten's long ago, so don't remember exactly how that was except "good"! First time here at Mikes and it is darn good as well. Ordered lean brisket and it was lean AND moist! Good job! Good smokey flavor but I would have liked it a little more intense. Sauce was quite tasty. Sausage was excellent! More towards the lean side--not fatty. Yet it, too, was juicy with a wonderful flavor. Beans good but would have liked a little more spice to them. Potato salad was good with maybe a shade too much dill pickle for me, but still quite tasty. Very large portions (this was the two meat plate). Too stuffed to try dessert. Good service. 4 stars!

Getting ready to try the Brisket and sausage. No menu. I wonder how much all of this is going to cost...
