Brisket was outstanding. Almost as good as Franklin's. Pork ribs were very good and extremely tender. The beef rib is the king of ribs. A must have if you eat here. Chipotle coleslaw is a great compliment to the meat.

Stopped here on last day of ACL. No line an hour before opening so loved that. Got the brisket, beef ribs, and sausage links. Brisket was fantastic; nice peppery crust and moist meat. Beef ribs oh so melted on my mouth. Sausage was good with nice kick. Spicy chipotle coleslaw was nice surprise. Overall great Q.

Stopped in last week... Line moved rally slow for some reason. Knocked out the Holy Trimity... All good but the link - it was really dry. Sure love that chipotle slaw!

Beef Rib was a tad salty, but cooked to perfection, sausage greasy but good, nothing is perfect so I give this place a 8.5...La Beef a Loca....

In this case, “La” is not a definite article referring to the “Cuisine Texicana” this relatively new joint says it serves; it’s an abbreviation referring to the first name of the co-owner LeAnn Mueller, granddaughter of the founder of Taylor’s famous Louie Mueller Barbecue (disclosure: LeAnn is a contributing photographer at Texas Monthly). Housed in a little trailer with a few picnic tables under old pecan and live oak trees, this eatery opened in 2011…
