I have not been here for a year but it did not disappoint. Excellent brisket and jalepano cheddar sausage. I like the variety - the frito pie and green chile stew were new and very tasty. As they say at Tyler's "Support Texas Barbeque."

Stopped in during a long drive and what a treat. Different style from what we are use to but great brisket, ribs , sides and staff. The brisket was sliced thinner and was leaner than what we get in Austin or Dallas. But they are doing something right - it was excellent

This place is the real deal. Best BBQ in the panhandle by far! Great brisket and good ribs. Sides were really good as well. The owner/pitmaster was very accommodating and seemed to really love his craft. It shows in the quality of the food!

Our first visit to Tyler’s Barbeque was a failure. The staff was friendly and the food was great, particularly the tender brisket with its peppery crust and subtle smoke ring, but we arrived too late to try the pork ribs, whose praises were being sung all over the High Plains. So we did what any true barbecue connoisseur would do: after consoling ourselves with the sausage (four kinds!) and drowning our sorrows in some tasty…
