Blue Ox BBQ in Austin has a beef short rib. Not sure if it is an everyday thing or special item. First time I went never noticed it, got it the second time on a Saturday.
We have short ribs every day, in limited quantities. They sell fast.
Joe’s in Alvin has beef back ribs – everyday
Brown Sugar’s in Houston has ’em all the time. Not particularly good, but if ya gotta have ’em….

Mueller BBQ in Taylor have short ribs, but they are COVERED in black pepper.
What happened to the Salt Lick? They had the most fantastic bbq beef ribs ever!!
They’re on the list above.
We live in South Carolina and visit Texas from time to time. My husband loves the beef ribs we get in Texas but can’t find them around here. Do you know of any restaurants near the upstate of South Carolina that might serve a good beef rib?
